Public Closure Notice

Mount Takemore is closed to the public

Effective immediately, and until further notice.

By order of the Commissioner, the summit, ridgelines, and all associated debating grounds of Mount Takemore National Monument are hereby closed to general access. The monument remains structurally sound. The public does not.

Pursuant to Section 2159 of the Hot Takes Act, all drafting, ranking, crowning of winners, and talking of smoke has been relocated to a single federally sanctioned mobile application. Said application is presently under review by an independent authority (Apple, Inc.). A determination is pending. The Office thanks you for your patience.

Takes attempted outside the application will not be recognized, recorded, or respected. The four faces carved herein remain under the sole jurisdiction of Samuel, Tyler, Ty & Austin.
